Plastic in the Ocean – A Consumer Conference

Every day we all use bottles, pens, bags, packaging and other plastic items. It is difficult to do without this material. Unfortunately, we often do not recycle it properly either. Every hour, the equivalent of 35 sea containers filled with plastic is rejected in the seas and oceans. Science and society must find solutions together.  We invite you to discover why the plastic in the ocean is a problem, the various methods used by scientists around the world to fight the problem of waste in the seas and what you can do to reduce your plastic impressed. Ask your questions to renowned scientists and experts. Then visit The Ocean Plastics Lab, an interactive and free exhibition on the forecourt of City Hall.
